Why Donate to the Durham Center for Senior Life (DCSL)? The DCSL is a private, non-profit organization that serves thousands of older adults and caregivers each year through programs designed to assist them to stay independent and healthy in their homes.
Although the DCSL receives funding through State and Federal Funds for older Americans, these grants are contingent on matching funds from the community.
Our organization has grown from being just the place where seniors come to play to a lifeline for those in need, and we are committed to do all we can to meet the needs in the Durham community.
Your donation makes a difference by supporting services to older adults such as:
- Congregate meals
- Caregiver support and In-home respite care
- Medicare and health insurance counseling
- Adult Day Health Center
- Socialization activities
- Exercise and health promotion
On behalf of the Durham Center for Senior Life, as well as our clients and their families, we appreciate your generous support. We could not do our work without you. You can use the donation options on the right side links area to submit your gift.
