Conversations with Mandy Carter

Join DCSL and iconic LGBT activist Mandy Carter for a conversation

on what pride and liberation mean to you. This will be an intergenerational discussion on how far we have come, where we are headed, and what it takes to get there. Refreshments will be provided. No registration required.

Ten-Minute Chair Massage

Students from Durham Tech Massage Therapy Program will offer free massages. First come, first served. No registration necessary.

Falls Prevention Workshop

Tuesday, November 7th

This workshop will focus on identifying falls risks at the participant’s home and solving challenges with exercising and engaging in social activities without the fear of falling.

Holiday Wreath Crafting

Veterans Day Ceremony

Aging in Place

Opioid Use Harm Reduction Training

Tuesday, November 14th

Representatives from North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition (NCHRC) will provide education on strategies to reduce harm in the opioid epidemic and hands-on training on Narcan administration. No registration is necessary.

Painting with Police: Holiday Scene

Fresh Produce Giveaway
