Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP)

Services offered are:

  • Information & Assistance to services
  • Options Counseling
  • Powerful Tools for Caregiving classes
  • Trualta – NC Online Caregiver Portal
  • Respite Care
  • Supplemental Services
  • Monthly Support Group for those caring for a loved one 55+
  • Monthly Caregiver Newsletter

Eligibility

  • Durham County resident (Both caregiver and care recipient)
  • Care Recipient must be 60+ and Caregiver must be 18+
  • Diagnosed with Dementia or Alzheimer’s and/or limitations to Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)
  • Not receiving any in-home assistance from other publicly-funded programs
