Facilities Porter

Overview:

The Facilities Porter will provide a healthy and sanitary environment by following required and recommended procedures and protocols of the Durham Center for Senior Life and the local public health authorities.

• • Part-time
  • $12-$13 per hour

Responsibilities:

• • Clean restrooms (mopping, sanitizing) daily and weekly as scheduled
  • Ensure restroom paper supplies are replenished as needed
  • Perform physical tasks and check facilities
  • Assist with the clean-up of trash and debris from building and grounds
  • Clean exterior and interior glass doors
  • Sweep tile floors as needed
  • Vacuum carpeted areas daily
  • Dispose of recyclables in designated receptacles
  • Bag and dispose trash in trash dumpster daily
  • Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
  • Performs other related Housekeeping duties, as assigned
